It is built in a valley surrounded by Aravali hills and is located on the way to the Amer Fort at the bottom of the Nahargarh hill.

Amer Fort:
This magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, built from pale yellow and pink sandstone, and white marble, It is situated on a forested hill promontory that juts into Maota Lake near the town of Amer

Royal Gaitore:
The stone monuments are beautifully and intricately carved. Maharajas Pratap Singh, Madho Singh II and Jai Singh II, among others, are honoured here. Jai Singh II has the most impressive marble cenotaph, with a dome supported by 20 carved pillars.

Maota Lake:
The lake contains an island in the center, named Kesar Kyari Bagh. whose plants are said to have been planted by a Maharaja in the 15th century.

Pink City:
